Please see our travel guide for the Run Norwich 2018 race day below.
We recommend getting into the city on race day with lots of time to spare. Many roads will be closed from 7am due to the event, and there will be parking restrictions in the city centre area.
Norwich Park n’ Ride will be running special race morning service (from 7am), and an array of city centre car parks open early to accommodate for runners and spectators.
Norwich Park n’ Ride will be operating a special service from Airport & Thickthorn every 20 minutes on race day. The first buses will leave at 7am and last buses back from the City Centre will be at 5pm. Due to road closures, Airport will operate to/from a temporary bus stop in Duke Street (near Premier Inn) and Thickthorn will operate to/from Norwich Bus Station. Standard fares will apply with discounts after 12 o’clock.
For runners and spectators that wish to park a vehicle in the city centre on race-day, we have listed a few options below.

To ensure the safety of our runners and spectators, a number of road closures will be necessary on race day.
We aim to keep disruption to a minimum and in most cases, the closures will only be around an hour. No vehicle movements will be allowed on the race route during the event, and in two areas (sections of Riverside Road and King Street) parking permits will be suspended and residents required to relocate their vehicles.
