Run Norwich 2025 entries opening soon

Entries to open next week

Entries for Run Norwich 2025, proudly headlined by Norse Group, will open soon for charity and general entrants.

As always, there will be a 24-hour charity priority window for those who wish to run on behalf of the event’s official organisers,  Norwich City Community Sports Foundation. This opens at 9am on Tuesday 4th March.

General entry for the 10K will follow the very next morning – opening at 9am on Wednesday, 5th March.

Further information about Junior Run Norwich entries, which sees capacity increased to 750 runners, will follow in due course.

Run Norwich 2025 will take place on the morning of Sunday, 7th of September 2025, in what is the 10th anniversary of the event.

Competition for places is expected to be as fierce as always, with last year’s event selling out in under 24 hours.

Charity entry

Charity entries open from 9am on Tuesday 4th March.

Those who choose to run for the official charity and event organisers, the Community Sports Foundation, can enter for free under the proviso the entrant reaches a fundraising target of £100, with your initial £15 deposit deducted from this fundraising total.

Incentives include a free charity t-shirt, access to a VIP area in the Race Village and a range of additional extras, including free use of the Riverside Leisure Centre pool and gym on Sunday afternoons.

If you’d like to run for a different charity or cause close to your heart, you’ll need to secure a general entry place first.

Supporting the community

Run Norwich is organised by Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, the official charity of Norwich City Football Club.

Foundation Partners Norse Group return to headline the event.

Ian Thornton OBE, the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, said:

“We are delighted that Norse has continued to support the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation and Run Norwich as Foundation Partners.

“Run Norwich provided a great platform to continue work with Norse Group last year, but it’s clear that their charitable objectives go far beyond that, and a strategic partnership with the Foundation presents the ideal opportunity for both parties.

“We are thoroughly looking forward to continuing this flourishing partnership across the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation and Run Norwich. Their beliefs and charitable aspirations align perfectly with everything we’re looking to achieve to further support and inspire our community.”

Justin Galliford, Norse Group’s Chief Executive Officer said:

“As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Run Norwich, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible energy and spirit of the event. Having attended last year, I was truly impressed by how the people of Norfolk came together to support their local community and the Community Sports Foundation.

“The event perfectly embodies our core values – encouraging and supporting community engagement. It’s a privilege to be a partner of the Foundation and an event that highlights the strength of Norfolk’s residents in supporting one another.”
